A Unicorn with Flippers!

Emma is our middle daughter and there really is never a dull moment with her around. This evening I was sitting watching some T.V. with my hubby when she comes into the room. She was on her hands and knees and moving in a quite unsual maner. It was then that we noticed that she was telling us that she was a unicorn. Okay....not sure where that come from, but never the less glad she was using her imagination. "A Unicorn?!?" i said , "Yes" she replied. " A unicorn with flippers".......did she just say flippers? I repeated it back to her, "so, you are a unicorn with flippers". "No, mama a UNICORN with FLIPPERS!" I looked down and noticed that she had slippers on her hands and feet. Oh that reminds me.... where did I put that number for speech therapy????

Okay, Okay, Okay!

What can I say time has been flying by. I started a job, quit a job and we have moved. I know that doesn't sound like much......but i feel like i am comming out of an acoma. We are all settled and getting ready for the holiday season. Which has reminded me how I have neglected my blog friends and family. So i'm back and will try to keep you all updated a little more. Sorry, please forgive me???

Under the Knife!!

Brian's surgery went well. Everything went as planned, and he did just fine being "put under". We weren't sure how that would go because he has never had to do that before. The worse thing when he woke up was that he had a terrible headache. But that went away once he was able to eat and drink again. He is trying to move around as much as possible. He even walked to the mailbox this morning. He is sleeping alot and just trying not to feel bad about not being able to help me out with the girls. I also want to take this time to thank all of you that were able to help out by watching the girls or sitting with me in the hospital. And those of you that prayed, we felt them with us on Monday. I think that it is harder being the one left in the waiting room!! Although Brian may disagree with that statement. Keep us in your prayers that he will be able to heal soon! Thanks, Anita
